Diplomas & Transcripts

Prospective employers sometimes request a certified copy of your diploma or your academic transcript. These certified copies can be provided by the University. You can also apply to the University for advice on having your diploma translated.

Lost diplomas

A diploma is a valuable document that the University issues only once. If somebody loses his diploma, the University can only provide a certified copy of the relevant page in the examination book as a substitute.

A person holding a doctoraal or kandidaats degree who has lost his diploma can only receive a statement from the beadle, exept the faculties of Law and Medicine. Alumni from latter faculties should contact their faculty.

For statements on PHD's from all faculties you can contact the beadle.

For bachelor’s and master’s degrees one needs to contact the teaching administration of the department concerned.
